With more than 150 years of experience and the most modern newspaper press in the Netherlands, BDU Print is one well-known player.
GrafiStore assisted in controlling the newspaper production based on a link with several custom configured systems. Data is received in a custom Enfocus Switch workflow which analyzes PDF files and XMLs. The newspaper pages are then sorted for the correct edition.

Wobe, ODOO and Switch
We have automated and connected all processes.
That applies to the link with WOBE (a workflow system for newspaper production) and BDU Prints' open-source administrative system ODOO. Switch ensures that the XML files that are delivered prepare the right PDFs for issues, sections and editions in the various 'folders' of WOBE, and then direct production. In addition, administrative data are also sent to ODOO, for final invoicing to our own publishing house and to third parties."
