Enfocus PitStop Library Container (PLC)

Today we are releasing PitStop Library Container, the newest addition to the Enfocus family.

What is PitStop Library Container?

PitStop Library Container is a cloud-ready PDF preflight and correction solution that uses our PitStop technology at its core. It makes the PitStop Library accessible through a REST API, making integration with a web2print, job onboarding, MIS, ERP, or any other end-user or OEM solution, being it B2B or B2C, easy, cost-effective, and future-forward.

Multi-platform support

PitStop Library Container is delivered as a docker container and supports macOS, Windows, and Linux. It works on any platform of choice, be it your private cloud or a commercially available cloud service, such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.

Designed for flexible scaling

PitStop Library Container is designed for maximum flexibility. Depending on the obtained license, customers can easily add load-balancing and fault-tolerance to their production by running unlimited docker containers across multiple physical servers or virtual machines concurrently, maximizing the required PDF processing needs at any given time. Cover your production seasonality and peak moments with only one license.

Cross-application compatibility

Preflight Profiles and Action Lists created with PitStop Pro and PitStop Server can be used with PitStop Library Container, keeping uniformity across print production.

Flexible licensing

PitStop Library Container licenses are subscription-based and run for a minimum one-year term. Licenses are available for use on a single server or for multi-server use, allowing customers to install PitStop Library Container on as many servers and/or VMs as they see fit. Furthermore, licenses cover the estimated number of annually processed PDF files. This allows for conveniently priced licenses, based on your production requirements.

No worries about renewals, upgrades, or overuse. Notifications will warn you based on the predicted volume for the current and coming period. You can upgrade your license on the fly and your production will never stop!
